Do You CHURN or should we keep CHURNING?
When our pastor PK mentioned CHURN as the sermon topic
Sunday, I was wondering, “Where are we going with this?”
I thought Christians were supposed to “Walk in Peace
that Passes Understanding”.
We usually learn about being patient, as in BE PATIENT
AND YOU WILL FINALLY WIN…
Or… Cast your care on HIM, for HE cares for you.
Or…PEACE BE WITH YOU!!!
Where was PK going with this?
I must have missed the meaning. What am I
going to learn???
Here’s the message …
To CHURN: agitate or turn (milk or cream) in a
machine in order to produce butter.
“Keep Churning the butter because
it makes life better!”
Yes, we all know that butter makes things
taste better and two observations come to mind.
- Those who churn LEARN to make life better. (what is the butter?)
- Those who churn GROW their character. (keep churning the butter)
THERE IS NOT BUTTER WITHOUT THE CHURN! , Meaning that
we must continue churning to get the butter (or the GOOD part).
Churn is the consistency behind every worthwhile dream.
Three lessons to be learned from churning.
Sometimes we have to do things we don’t want to do to get what we want. (churn the butter).
DO IT ANYWAY!!!
Don’t forget the WHY? (why we churn)
KEEP THE GOAL IN MIND AS TO WHY WE CHURN.
Talk to yourself!
Don’t get weary in doing the churn.
When we lose the WHY the churn will eat us up!
So, we now know why we need to keep churning towards our goals and dreams.
Churning makes butter and butter
is good.—Therefore KEEP CHURNING!
Talking to ourselves about our dreams and
goals keep us churning.—Therefore Keep Talking
Keep on churning to get the results you want.
Therefore, DON”T QUIT!!!
Enough said. GO FOR THE GOAL!!!
